Designed for the discerning traveller to appreciate the size and scale of Halong Bay waterways. With this itinerary we cruise “Off the Beaten Track” and Discovery the area less travelled.
Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay (L/D)
07.00-07.30am Permits processed Port Authority
08.00am Depart Hanoi by road
11.30am Check-In at Tuan Chau Marina
Depart Marina Midday – welcome drinks – safety briefing
Cruise Ha Long Bay. En route you can have a nice glimpse of Cat Ba National Park.
01.00pm Lunch with your pre-ordered menu from our online selections.
03.00pm Enter a secluded bay where you can kayak some caves & grottos. Continue on your way to Cat Ba Port. Enjoy Afternoon Tea.
Here the mussel farms and fishing villages are extraordinary. Navigate these narrow channels to observe the authentic local daily life and explore the local culture.
05.00pm Return to the main channel and drop anchor at Anchorage 690. A secluded bay – away from the main tourist fleet and a peaceful evening afloat.
06.00pm Sunset drinks and Dinner time
We have DVD or board game for your leisure evening time.

Day 2: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
07:00am Start a new day voyage. ‘Good Morning Vietnam’ & Breakfast time
Cruise to the Cua Van fishing village - rustic – rural – traditional. Here you will be transfered on a small Vietnamese bamboo boat with your personal onboard butler/guide to visit the village’s school, hospital, museum and Buddhist pagoda in around 1 hour.
11.00am Back to Tuan Chau Marina.Cruise Flexibility
This Western Isles itinerary is flexible to suits the needs, wants & tastes of our discerning guests. Subject to weather conditions we may change the second day route and activities to day one and vice versa. We can also tailor an itinerary specifically for our guest’s requirements.
